In a world where early detection can mean the difference between life and death, VoiceMed is introducing a new way to monitor lung health—using just your voice and breath.

Their flagship product, Well-Lung, is a software solution that acoustically analyzes a person’s voice and breathing patterns to assess lung function. This capability is vital for the early detection of diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Arianna Arienzo, representing VoiceMed, explains the bigger vision: digital health tools like Well-Lung could create an entirely new layer of health check-ups—ones that can alert you to potential problems before symptoms even appear. This shift from reactive to proactive healthcare could not only save significant healthcare costs but, more importantly, save lives.

Through the EPICENTRE European program, VoiceMed aims to:

  • Collaborate with corporate partners to run new pilots and demonstrate the solution’s effectiveness.
  • Validate Well-Lung’s value through large-scale testing.
  • Explore connections with smoking cessation programs, since more than 70% of people with COPD are smokers.

By integrating lung function monitoring into everyday life—and linking it to preventive measures like stopping smoking—VoiceMed’s Well-Lung has the potential to make a massive public health impact.

One thing is clear: VoiceMed isn’t just building medical software—they’re giving people a chance to take control of their respiratory health long before it’s too late.
