Euroclusters Initiative: 16 Projects Selected to Strengthen Europe's Industrial Ecosystems

Submitted by ECCP Team on 08 July 2025

The European Commission has announced the results of the latest Euroclusters call for proposals, selecting 16 forward-looking projects – 8 under each of the two key strands – with a total allocation of approximately €42 million. The projects are set to begin implementation on 1 October 2025.

Under the Single Market Programme, the Euroclusters initiative fosters the development of resilient and sustainable industrial ecosystems through strategic cluster collaboration. The two strands of this call target different but complementary priorities:

  • Strand 1 addresses critical raw materials and net-zero technologies, aligning with the EU’s climate objectives and energy independence agenda.

  • Strand 2 focuses on innovation and transformation across other vital industrial value chains.

The overarching goal is to boost strategic autonomy and accelerate the green and digital transitions, with projects supporting the uptake of advanced technologies and new business models by European SMEs.

In addition to these core objectives, the projects are expected to:

  • Strengthen EU value chains through cross-border and cross-sectoral collaboration

  • Enhance skills and attract talent by offering upskilling and reskilling opportunities

  • Support internationalisation, helping SMEs access global markets and supply chains

This new cohort of Euroclusters reflects the EU’s ongoing commitment to reinforcing the competitiveness and resilience of its industry, especially in the face of global challenges.

Full details on the individual projects will be published in due course, following the signing of all Grant Agreements.
