FIRST STEPS IN GREENSTEP ROADMAP
GreenStep is organised in 5 main progressive steps, aiming to boost the networking and collaboration among the eight participating regions, especially in less-developed regions, through co-creation, alignment of smart specialisation areas, and fostering new business opportunities that reinforce the EIIs value chain.
The project will start with an assessment and benchmarking analysis (WP 3) among the eight participant regions as well as other regions in Europe, addressing the performance of innovation actors in each ecosystem, the Smart Specialisation Strategies, the innovation stakeholders linked to EIIs, and the EIIs ecosystem. As a result, user-friendly databases and interactive maps will be created, outlining the strengths and weaknesses of each regional innovation ecosystem. This action will facilitate the creation of solid connections and collaboration, ensuring the generation of synergies.
