A summary of EU Industry Days 2025 in Rzeszów from Polish Clusters Association

On 4-5 June 2025, Rzeszów hosted a key European event dedicated to industry – EU Industry Days, which was held for the first time in Poland. This year's edition attracted hundreds of participants from all over Europe – representatives of the European Commission, national and regional administration, clusters, companies, investment funds, research and development institutions and universities.
"EU Industry Days showed that Europe has everything it needs to build a competitive, innovative and sustainable industry. Now it's time to act – together" – emphasised the participants of the plenary sessions.
The Polish Clusters Association was a proud partner of the event – with its own stand, strong representation and an expert discussion panel.
The panel organised by the Association entitled "Dual-use industry as an answer to modern security challenges and an opportunity for Polish and Ukrainian industrial cooperation" gathered industry leaders from Poland and Ukraine.
Together they discussed how to develop the dual-use industry sector, respond to geopolitical challenges and build international value chains.
The Aviation Valley, the oldest industrial cluster in Poland, also organised its own expert panel. The discussion focused on the future of the aviation sector, new technologies and the region's position in European supply chains.
The presence of clusters was noticeable not only on stage, but also in the corridors of the event. Representatives of the cluster coordinator network from Poland and other EU countries actively participated in networking meetings. “
The future of Europe? Cooperation, specialization and courage.
The main topics discussed during the EU Industry Days included the role of the defense industry in European security, Ukraine's integration with the EU single market, building competitiveness based on decarbonization, innovation and common standards.
