TèxtilsCAT strengthens cross-border collaboration in the European textile ecosystem

In line with its mission to foster innovation and international collaboration, the Catalan textile cluster, Tèxtils.CAT supported two international missions in the first semester of the year, connecting its members with key players across the European textile industry.
These initiatives reflect the cluster’s strategic role in helping its members discover new ecosystems, build meaningful relationships, and create long-term partnerships beyond borders.
On March 19–20, the Tèxtils.CAT team and three of its members: Technitiger, FINSA-Job Group, and Hilaturas Arnau, travelled to Tourcoing, France. During this two-day mission, organized by the Textile ETP in collaboration with Clubtex, Euramaterials, and CETI, participants took part in company visits and a dedicated workshop focused on advanced textile recycling.
This immersive experience provided valuable insight into France’s innovation-driven textile ecosystem and sparked new ideas for circular collaboration.
Later, on May 6–7, Technitiger, Jose Fuster, and Rutex, accompanied by a member of Tèxtils.CAT team, joined a mission in Prato, Italy.
The visit, hosted by the Italian TEXBREIN project partner, Next Technology Tecnotessile, included networking events and visits to key local textile companies.
The mission enabled Catalan participants to exchange knowledge and explore synergies with counterparts in one of Italy’s most renowned textile innovation hubs.
In the coming months, two other missions will be organized, in the framework of TEXBREIN project, one in Sweden (November 2025) and the second in Portugal (March 2026).
Through these European missions, Tèxtils.CAT reinforces its commitment to helping its members connect with other textile ecosystems, gain international visibility, and drive collaborative innovation at European level.
These missions are part of the broader effort by Tèxtils.CAT to position Catalonia as an active and forward-thinking player in the future of the textile industry.
