1600x600 Make Companies Choose Europe

Description

EU Member States implement cluster policies not only to foster innovation and competitiveness but also to align with broader regional development and industrial policy goals. These strategies are increasingly integrated into national and regional policy frameworks to address place-based priorities, industrial transformation, and sustainable growth. While over half of the EU27 have more than a decade of experience in cluster-specific policies, their approaches differ significantly depending on governance structures, policy objectives, and regional contexts. This complexity offers valuable insights into how clusters contribute to cohesive and future-oriented territorial and sectoral strategies.

To explore these dynamics, the European Cluster Collaboration Platform, on behalf of the European Commission, hosts the EU Clusters Talk “Clusters in Policies: From National and Regional Agendas to Industrial Strategies” on 10 September, from 8:30 – 9:45 CET. The session will showcase how different Member States integrate cluster support into their regional and industrial policy frameworks, discuss successful approaches, and reflect on what is needed to strengthen coherence and impact in the evolving policy landscape.

This event is part of regular online meetings brought to the cluster community by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform. They offer up-to-date insights into the latest industrial policies and clusters’ involvement, projects and best practices, the latest ECCP news, and funding opportunities. The EU Clusters Talks are a space to exchange knowledge and to discuss cluster-relevant topics, which will change with every meeting.

Registration for this event is mandatory before 9 September 23:59 CET. This event is open to participants from the EU/COSME/SMP countries. Approval will be given on an individual basis.
