Description
Investment is at the heart of Europe’s competitiveness, sustainability, and technological leadership. The European investment agenda brings together strategic initiatives to mobilise public and private capital for innovation, industrial transformation, and the twin green and digital transitions. It seeks to close investment gaps, strengthen Europe’s sovereignty in critical technologies, and ensure that businesses of all sizes can access the financing they need to scale and compete globally. The agenda spans areas from clean and digital infrastructure to advanced manufacturing, deep tech, and social innovation. It promotes resilient supply chains, sustainable energy systems, and cutting-edge re-search while deepening European capital markets. By aligning financial instruments such as InvestEU, the Global Gateway, and the New European Innovation Agenda, it creates opportunities at the intersection of industry, finance, and policy.
To explore these opportunities, the European Cluster Collaboration Platform, on behalf of the European Commission, will host the EU Clusters Talk: “European Investment Agenda: Mobilising Capital for Innovation and Industrial Transformation” on 22 October, from 08:30 to 9:45 CET. This session will outline the main pillars of the European investment agenda and discuss how clusters can actively contribute to – and benefit from – this ambitious European framework.
This event is part of regular online meetings brought to the cluster community by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform. They offer up-to-date insights into the latest industrial policies and clusters’ involvement, projects, and best practices, the latest ECCP news, and funding opportunities. The EU Clusters Talks are a space to exchange knowledge and to discuss cluster-relevant topics, which will change with every meeting.
Registration for this event is mandatory before 21 October, 23:59 CET. This event is open to participants from the EU/COSME/SMP countries. Approval will be given on an individual basis.
